Undercurrents Forum: The geopolitics of the public, the private, and the commons within the arts

Event Information:
Organized by Pumice Raft in collaboration with artist-educator chris mendoza, Undercurrents Forum investigates notions of public and private space, the geopolitics that underlie them, and their impact on the arts–funding, institutions, and artists’ professionalization. Undercurrents Forum has consisted of three public events at Top Top Projects (165 Geary Ave, Toronto, ON M6H 2B8) and one event in partnership with Art Metropole (896 College St, Toronto, ON M6H 1A4). Undercurrents is currently conducting oral history interviews to continue the above research.
