Pumice Raft 5-Year Annivesary

Event Information:
Pumice Raft officially signed a lease at 348 Ryding Avenue on November 2nd, 2019. The activities that Pumice Raft has presented would not be possible without the collective efforts of all who helped bring them into being as well as all those who have shown up as collaborators, viewers, and participants.

The photographs below were taken by Fatine-Violette Sabiri on September 8th, 2024 in front of the light industrial building that Pumice Raft calls home. An invitation was sent out to all those who were part of Pumice Raft’s first five years of activities to sit for a portrait in celebration of this collective milestone. Many collaborators were able to attend but many more—living in different cities, countries, continents—were not. Those who are not pictured are not forgotten.
